Three steps

Open Kamae-arm64.dmg from your Downloads folder.

Drag the Kamae icon onto the Applications folder.

Open Kamae from Applications. It lives in the menu bar at the top right — not in the Dock. Click it and press Start.

Kamae is signed and notarized by Apple. Your 14-day trial starts the first time you open it — no account or card needed.
